Stretching from downtown to Germantown, North Capitol is named for the historic State Capitol building. Many government offices are located within the neighborhood, including the jail and a host of bail bond companies. People from all over Nashville flock to the Farmers Market and Bicentennial Mall. There are quite a few modern townhome developments and condominiums more affordable than in other downtown neighborhoods. I vote for the area between Third and the river to be called the District but I haven’t gotten to officially rename it yet. Nashville’s new baseball stadium is being built here and soon this whole area will be known as, you know where the baseball stadium is? Head that way and turn left.
