Sobro

Sobro

SoBro is short for South Broadway. If your image of Nashville is live music and honky tonks, then this is probably the spot you’re envisioning. You can buy boots and a pitcher of beer to drink standing up in front of a live band almost any time of day or night. You can leave Broadway and walk to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center or Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The Music City Center is the newest fixture in SoBro. Hotels are quickly filling in the empty spaces close to the convention center.

Travel tip: If your kids love live music but you’d rather not take them to a bar here’s my suggestion. Take them to the Southern for Sunday brunch. Bonus: The Pinnacle building has parking and the Southern will validate your ticket so you avoid having to find a parking spot downtown. You will most likely need a reservation.
