Kate Nelson is adept at listening and understanding her clients’ unique situations. Empowering her clients to buy their first home, become real estate investors, relocate to their perfect-fit neighborhoods, negotiate contracts, and effectively market their homes gives Kate great joy. She often helps people through life transitions and is motivated to help each client achieve the best outcome in any situation.
Kate has been a Village real estate agent for more than fifteen years; she specializes in Nashville’s urban residential neighborhoods. A resident of the city since 2001, East Nashville since 2005, and a lifetime recipient of the Greater Nashville Realtors(R) Award of Excellence, Kate received the GNR Sapphire award again in 2018 with over $10 million in closed sales; she is extremely familiar with the Middle Tennessee market.
Kate received the Volunteer award for her company in 2015 in recognition of her commitment and involvement in the community. Kate makes a gift from every transaction to the Nashville Food Project. That caring heart translates into better transaction outcomes for her clients.
Kate’s success can largely be attributed to her full-time dedication to forming personal, devoted relationships with her clients and helping them develop a personalized plan to meet their real estate needs. Kate employs a client care specialist to allow her greater personal availability for her clients as well as expedited customer service.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from Transylvania University and a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Before real estate she was director of a summer camp and Japanese immersion program.
Kate and her wife Stephanie live in East Nashville with their six year old and two year old twins. A few things they love about where they live are walking to Rosepepper to meet up with friends, date nights at Margot Cafe, and playdates at Shelby Park.
Whether you are building your nest or building your nest egg, Kate’s expertise will work for you.
