Like its neighbor Cleveland Park, McFerrin Park is a neighborhood in East Nashville that offers many great renovated historic homes, historic replicas, and homes yet-to-be renovated. New construction is more and more prevalent, and the prices are lower than homes across Gallatin. Neighbors are trying to save the old Roxy Theater and happily support the local diner on Meridian and tavern on Wilburn. It offers one of the quickest commutes to any downtown location via the interstate, Jefferson Street and James Robertson bridges. It has a large park (McFerrin Park) with tennis courts, walking trail, playground, and community center.
