So, if you move to Inglewood you may decide that Inglewood shouldn’t be included on an East Nashville map, and you’ll have company. Inglewood used to be a town separate from Nashville but it was incorporated and became a neighborhood. However, it has its own zip code 37216 and its own character. The homes are a little younger than those in East Nashville, think 1930’s Tudors versus 1920’s bungalows. It still has much of the same charm, nightlife, and shopping as East Nashville with a little less of the urban feel. It’s more of a historic suburb than a historic neighborhood in Nashville’s urban core.
